Cascade Medical School - Medication Aide

Medication Aide Description

A Certified Nursing Assistant who has had
additional training in administration of
non-injectable medication.

This 80-hour course is divided into 56 hours of classroom and 24 hours of
clinical practice as required by the Oregon State Board of Nursing. Student
must have verification of at least 6 months full time (or equivalent in part-time
hours) of employment as a Nursing Assistant since completing an OSBN
approved Nursing Assistant Training program. Student must be a current
Certified Nursing Assistant on the OSBN registry.

TUITION: Class: $600 Textbook: $75
Clinical (only if clinicals are done by Cascade Medical School) : $1000

IF CASCADE MEDICAL SCHOOL PROVIDES CLINICALS:
Schedules will be provided to students by 2nd week of classroom.

IF OUTSIDE FACILITY PROVIDES CLINICALS:
Pre-approval required for all students choosing not to do clinicals with Cascade Medical School.

$100.00 Administration fee will be added to your class tuition if you decide to do clinicals through your own facility with your own preceptor.
